LAUNCHING THE 2022 GIVI-BIKE AND DOWNHILL ITALIA COLLABORATION
GIVI-Bike is confirmed as a sponsor of the 2022 Downhill Italia Cup and the one-event Italian Championship.
Downhill has been defined as the ‘Formula 1’ of mountain biking and is undoubtedly the most spectacular of the two-wheeled disciplines.
The 2022 season of the Downhill Italia Cup opened at the Sestola track in the province of Modena. In line with the record numbers of 2021, this year’s event saw more than 400 registered entrants and, particularly, significant numbers of young riders, many more than in previous years in fact, with a total of 80 novices and rookies taking part.
The 2022 edition of the Downhill Italia Cup will comprise four races in all. Each unmissable round will essentially be an event within an event, offering all participants a unique experience.

The one-event Italian Championship will be organised in Sestriere (TO), bringing Downhill to the renowned ski district. On 22-24 July, Sestriere will be flooded with all the best bikers from Italy and beyond as they battle for the tricolour shirts across the various categories.
The races will be covered by Magazine Downhill Italia that goes out on Bike Channel, the only 24-hour channel dedicated to cycling on SKY, on channel 222, and on digital terrestrial, channel 259.
